Terms and conditions


Definitions

  • ”Company” means Veterinary Orthopedics Scandinavia Oy
  • “Customer” means the veterinary practice or any person to whom the Company has agreed to supply goods.
  • “Goods” means the products which the Company is to supply to the customer in accordance with these conditions.


Ordering

Delivery

    • Goods are delivered through DHL or mail. The delivery time for goods in stock is 1-3 working days by DHL and 2-5 working days by mail.
    • Times quoted for delivery of the goods are to be treated as estimates only and the Company shall not be liable for any loss, injury, damage or expense arising from delay in delivery of the goods howsoever caused.
    • Delivery charges for normal size package are 10-99 EUR without VAT depending on the weight of package and the destination of package
    • Delivery charges for larger products requiring transport are priced separately.
    • The customer is responsible for all possible custom fees of the destination country

    Price of goods

    • Goods will be invoiced at the prevailing price at the date of despatch to the customer. The price of goods shall be subject to alteration by the Company without prior notice to the customer. The prices of all our goods are exclusive of any Value Added Tax (VAT) for which the customer shall be additionally liable to pay the Company when needed.


    Terms of payment

      • Payment is strictly 14 days net from the date of invoice if not otherwise agreed. Failure to adhere to the terms outlined may result in the suspension of deliveries and/or further action at the companies discretion. You must provide a Business ID/VAT number in order to pay by invoice.


      Warranty

      • The warranty is determined in accordance with the warranty terms specified by the manufacturer of the product.
      • The company shall not be liable for any Goods’ failure to comply with the warranty if the defect arises because the Customer failed to follow the company’s oral or written instructions as to the storage, commissioning, installation, use and maintenance of the Goods or (if there are none) good trade practice regarding the same.
      • The customer must report a product defect as soon as the defect is detected.


      Returned goods policy

      • The Customer has the right to cancel their order and return it to the Company within 14 days of receiving the product.
      • The Goods are accepted for return to correct a Company delivery or order error.
      • The Goods are accepted for return where the products or packages are alleged to have been faulty, damaged or tampered with prior to delivery.
      • The Goods are accepted for return where the Company agrees, in advance of their return for any other reason.

        • In case of returning goods
          • Goods must be adequately packaged, in their original packaging to ensure that no damage is caused during their return to the Company.
          • All returned goods must be free from defect and include the following documentation:
            • A Returns Form, a copy of the original invoice or delivery note, or the number of the specific invoice on which the goods were supplied, together with a reason for their return.
          • In case of warranty or the Company delivery or order error, the product will be returned without postage costs to the sender. Detailed instructions will be sent by email for the Customer.


      Force major

      • The Company shall not be liable to the customer or be deemed to be in breach of the Contract by reason of any delay in performing, or any failure to perform, any of the Company’s obligations in relation to the Goods, if the delay or failure was due to any cause beyond the Company’s reasonable control. Examples of force majeure include actions taken by an authority, an infectious disease situation, a technical failure, interruption of operations as a result of water damage or fire or other accident, an interruption of public transport or energy supply, a labor dispute or any other similar reason of equally significant and unusual effect which the Company could not reasonably have taken into account and whose consequences it could not reasonably have avoided.
